　　The Jiuquan Kaidi Agricultural Science and Technology Development Co. Ltd. in Gansu province of China was founded in 2009, is a agricultural corporation which integrated with scientific research, seed production, seed sale and agriculture raw materials production, and also is a import and export trade enterprise approved by the Gansu Province’s Foreign Economic and Trade Administration, and still a modernized seed industry enterprise with its business concept as: based on the scientific research, depending on the quality, with new varieties as the core competitiveness. The company has been approved by the province’s Variety Management Committee for recognition of its ten varieties of vegetables, five varieties of sunflower. Jiuquan is a city located in the hinterland, is characterized by a dry climate, large temperature difference between day and night, long hours of sunshine, distinct seasons. Its annual sunshine hours are between 2800 and 3300 hours, annual precipitation is from 50 to 200 millimeters. The snow-water from the Qilian Mountains and the abundant groundwater both facilitate irrigation for agricultural production.
